As a fan of themed entertainment, I wanted to try and conjure up a design for an attraction at a theme park. Ultimately, I decided on a Tangled themed attraction because Disney world felt as though it was lacking some representation of the franchise.

This design started as a sketch, then I transferred it electronically, and from there digitally painted it. A few iterations and screenshots from throughout the process are shown above and some more below.

In the future I intend to create more art and ideas for other rides and parks, because I find it fun and a good exercise to strengthen design. I also intent to remake the digital paintings as 3D models within 3DS Max or a similar program. Possibly animate them too, although I need to focus on some other projects before that!
